Mr. Kraushar dresses up as a Hot Dog to celebrate the student's tremendous effort on the State Assessments!  

 On the morning of April 18th, Jardine recognized students who made the Principal's Honor Roll (4.0), Honor Roll (3.5-3.99), 99% award, and Perfect Attendance.  Way to Go Jaguars!  

Mr. Alvarez, the Principal at Northeast Magnet High School, came to Jardine to speak
to 8th Graders about their options for high school.  
 

 Ms. Atherly dances with the students who met their reading goal and were able to attend a dance at the end of the day!  

The Jardine staff won two of three games against the students in a friendly competition on Tuesday.  The girls played hard, but in the end, were no match for a faculty team brimming with talent.  

 Freddy's Frozen Custard has generously donated 16 ukuleles to students in Mr. Marten's class!  In the coming months, they will be learning the chords and scales necessary to become certified ukulele Rock Stars!  

 Since Jardine staff and students raised money well beyond our $300 goal, Mr. Bolan had to follow through with his promise to wear a turkey costume all day!  

 Mrs. Kuhns was awarded $500 by the Wendel G. Mohling Foundation!  She will use the money to attend the National Science Teacher's Association conference to learn about new labs and methods that she will be able to bring back to Jardine students!
